Pacificon Game Expo has been where the tabletop community gathers for all manner of tabletop gaming over Labor Day Weekend in the San Francisco Bay Area and Beyond! The Pacificon Game Expo features a variety of board games, role playing games. historical and fantasy miniatures games, card games, wargames (historical board games), and more!
The convention also hosts:
Pacificon Protospiel - (where designers bring their prototypes for the rest of us to try out!)
War Game Boot Camp - (in it's 12 year with us where you can learn new and exciting board games depicting conflicts from throughout the world... and beyond!)
Play to Win!!! We will have a number of chances to win a game in our Play to Win program! You can win the very game you are playing!
The CVW (Central Valley Wargamers)!! These folks not only store and transport our convention materials, and run our Flea Markets, but they also find the time to set up and run MANY monster sized blow ups of popular board games! In 2025 they offered: Thunder Alley - Civilization - Time of Crisis - Wiskey Run (Fire and Fury) - Circvs Maximvs - Napoleonic Wars - King Maker and Game of Thrones!!
Flea Markets - Where you can rent a table for a couple hours and bring your old games to sell!
Annual Blood Drive - On Saturday in the parking lot right outside the convention doors!
Vendors Galore! - Each day the vendor hall opens up with a number of cacophony of colorful products for pursual and purchase!
Game Library - Your admission badge allows you to borrow one of our many games on hand to play! And so much more! All at the fabulously beautiful and convenient Santa Clara Marriott Hotel just off the 101 freeway!
